The Dorbar Shnong Nonglang, South West Khasi Hills has denied allegations that the main water tank at Meïawan locality of Nonglang village was non-functional.
Reacting to a report that appeared in this newspaper recently, the Dorbar Shnong said that the water tank was functioning and feeds water to many small tanks and also households in the area.
Admitting that there are some shortcomings in the water tank, the Dorbar Shnong said that it is working together with the PHE Mawkyrwat Division to address the issue.
