Residents of Pahammawlein village are being forced to breathe flying dust kicked up by trucks using a weighbridge at Nar-ang, just off National Highway 6 in Ri-Bhoi.
Last year, in a separate protest, Pahammawlein residents protested with members of pressure groups over the bad road condition by stopping trucks from getting to the weighbridge.
The dust kicked up blankets their farms, clothes and homes, inside and out.
The authorities at the site spray water on the dilapidated road nearby but this cannot cope with all the trucks that use the facility.
