State BJP spokesperson Mariahom Kharkrang today expressed his gratitude to the central government, which is led by his party, for organising the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra across the state.
The yatra aims to educate people about the various central government schemes available to them in order for them to benefit where eligible.
According to Kharkrang, it is because of this yatra that needy people who have never been reached are now getting information about central government schemes available and that numerous people could take advantage of them.
“People are being educated about the beneficiary schemes and on the spot enrollment is being carried out. The central government is learning from the citizens in the process so that further schemes can be worked out or improved. I can say that no previous government at the centre has tried to reach out to the people in this manner,” stated the BJP spokesperson.
