The 35the Lympung of the Seng Khihlang will be held at Laitryngew under Seng Khasi Sohra circle in East Khasi Hills from April 18 to April 20.
The three-day event organised by the Seng Khihlang, formed by Seng Khasi and Sein Raij, is to remind the Khasi Pnar people of their culture and traditional beliefs and at the same time, envisages a need to preserve the rich cultures of the indigenous Khasi Pnar people.
During the Lympung a monolith will be taken to Laitryngew from Seiñ Raij Umladkhur of Riwar Jaiñtia on April 18 at 7 am, the organisers said.
