An unidentified man was found hanging near Advance Diagnostic Research Centre Jhalupara, Tenzing Road, here on September 15, police said today.
According to the police, the man, suspected to be between 35-40 years of age has thin beard on his chin with swarthy complexion. He measures about 5.2 feet, medium build and was wearing a white colour t-shirt with yellow, dark blue sweater, brown jacket, a black and greenish track pant and black belt.
A local resident, Sugan Thapa found the man hanging at around 10:45 pm.
Police said the body has been kept at the Shillong Civil Hospital morgue after completion of all legal formalities and post mortem examination.
