The Additional Superintendent of MIMHANS has informed that one female patient, named Manikola Lama, aged 55, was brought by Cantonment Police and admitted there. The patient expired at Ganesh Das Hospital, Shillong. The body has since been moved to the morgue at Shillong Civil Hospital and relatives are requested to collect the body within three days, failing which it will be disposed of by the Shillong Municipal Board.
Separately, a woman named Regina Marbaniang, aged 52, and residing in Nongthymmai, was admitted to Civil Hospital on March 20 and died the following day. Relatives are requested to collect the body within three days, failing which it will be disposed of by the Shillong Municipal Board.
