The second edition of the Faculty Development Programme – MaDE 2.0 (Making a Difference as Educators) is underway at St. Anthony’s College.
The training is being hosted by the Department of Value Education, St. Anthony’s College, Shillong, in collaboration with David C Cook Ministry and the Don Bosco Higher Education India (DBHEI), under the Aegis of IQAC.
The programme which began on April 22 will conclude tomorrow.
MaDE 2.0 is a programme for Training of the Trainers (ToT) in value based teaching.
In keeping with the mission and vision of the College, this FDP reaffirms the vision of education as a mission of transformation—shaping not only the minds but also the character of the young, the college said in a statement.
The FDP is being attended by 35 teachers from various higher education institutions of the North East. The resource persons are from the David C Cook Ministry, who are certified members of Character Solutions International (CSI).
The event is also financially supported by Central Bank of India, St. Anthony’s College Branch and DBHEI.
