Rabindranath Tagore Club of Laban organised a dance and Hindi song competition today as part of its 13th Inter Shillong Cultural Event 2023.
The judges of the dance competition were Pooja Baraily, Sanghita Dutta and Jumki Bhattacharjee.
This was the concluding day of the cultural event, which has run every weekend since July 16. Other competitions included Rabindra Sangeet, folk songs, dance on Tagore songs, English recitation, Bengali recitation, antakshari, art, fun games, rangoli and essay writing.
All the competitions were held at Laban Assamese Girls Higher Secondary School here. A prize distribution ceremony will be held on September 10 at a time and venue to be notified later.
The Tagore Club thanked the Principal and managing committee of the school for hosting the event as well as participants, guardians, well-wishers, judges, patrons and club members.
