The Institute of Bioresources and Sustainable Development (DBT-IBSD), Shillong today distributed the institute’s made surface disinfectant to Seiñ Jaiñtia Secondary School in Qualapatty.
As the school caters to the economically weaker section of the society through free education the institute hoped that their contribution would help in santisation of the school.
The surface disinfectants were handed over to the principal of the school V Shylla.
The DBT-IBSD is actively participating in helping the society through the distribution of Institute made sanitizer, disinfectant, and face masks to vegetable vendors, traffic police, taxi drivers, bank staff and school teachers to help in fighting the Covid-19 pandemic. In different parts of the region, the IBSD Centres are actively participating and serving the society through such outreach activities during the Covid-19 scenario.
