Shillong, Aug 27: A special cell has been set up at Uttaranchal University, Dehradun, for students from North-Eastern states.
District Legal Services Authority, East Jaintia Hills, said the cell will provide legal assistance, guidance and institutional support to NE students.
The initiative by Uttarakhand State Legal Services Authority was discussed at its 24th annual general meeting on July 21.
Students can avail the facility for legal guidance and support, DLSA said.
