The southwest monsoon has withdrawn from the entire parts of Meghalaya yesterday and from the entire country today.
Informing this, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said that the southwest monsoon seasonal rainfall from June to September over Meghalaya was 92 per cent of low pressure area (LPA).
It also said that out of the total 11 districts in the State, two districts received large excess rainfall (60 per cent or more), five districts received normal rainfall (-19 per cent to + 19 per cent) and four districts received deficient rainfall (-20 per cent to -59 per cent).
