Shillong, Oct 23: The Shillong Science Centre, in collaboration with the North Eastern Space Applications Centre (NESAC), organised a three-day autumn camp at its premises in the NEHU campus, here.
Around 150 students from 15 different schools took part in the programme.
During the camp, students took part in a variety of hands-on demonstrations and group activities in Physics, Electronics, Chemistry, Computer Programming and Astronomy. One of the main attractions was NESAC’s “Space on Wheels” — a mobile science exhibition bus that gave students a closer look at space science and technology.
The camp aimed to encourage students to learn science through practical experience and to develop a deeper interest in the subject.
