South Shillong MLA Sanbor Shullai inspected the area for the construction of a link road in Rilbong here on Monday, a delayed press release informed today.
The Public Works Department (PWD) road will lead from the main entrance of the Arts and Culture building at Rilbong to the community hall and Umshyrpi River, connecting there to the existing road at Rhino Museum.
Accompanying the legislator on the inspection were PWD engineers, officials from the Arts and Culture Department and constituency members. The road has been sanctioned at a cost of Rs 1.98 crore.
