Six teachers of schools in Umsning area of Ri Bhoi district were awarded with the Nation Builders Award, 2023 by the Rotary Club of Orchid City, Shillong.
The teachers are Neeta Kharbani, Clement Mawlong, Theresa Khonglam of St Michael’s Higher Secondary School, Augustine Kharsyntiew of Sati Raja Memorial Secondary School and teachers of Umsning Presbyterian Upper Primary School, Rishanskhem Wahlang and Diana B Susngi.
The award function was held at St Michael’s Higher Secondary School, Umsning which was attended by Directorate of School Education and Literacy, Ri Bhoi, Joint Director, Vincent Nianglang and PGT College Principal Mary Anne Jyrwa.
