A 12 foot python that had coiled itself up on the bamboo posts in a cow shed of a villager at Gopalthan village, was safely recovered by officials from the forest department of the GHADC before being handed over to state forest authorities.
The snake was discovered by the owner of the house when he visited the shed following which he hurriedly informed the rest of the villagers. The villagers then informed the GHADC forest officials following which the department helped capture the reptile.
