Candidates of the staff nurse recruitment examination have expressed dissatisfaction over the results declared stating there is no transparency.
The examination was conducted under the Meghalaya Medical Services Recruitment Board on September 21. The result notification was published by the Department of Health and Family Welfare in the Meghalaya portal.
Lurstep Nongrum at a press conference highlighted several issues with the results that included non-serial roll numbers, missing numbers, and duplicate entries.
Moreover, according to Nongrum the results were delayed, taking 144 hours instead of the agreed-upon 72 hours. He said that the results lacked crucial details such as candidate names, marks, and categories.
“This lack of transparency has raised suspicions among the nurses,” he said.
Nongrum also emphasised that a meeting with Health Minister Ampareen Lyngdoh in July had set a 72-hour deadline for result declaration.
According to him, the current outcome falls short of expectations.
The nurses have sought a clear and transparent result declaration by September 30, including all roll numbers, categories, and marks scored.
