The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, in its effort to enhance education and skills in the field of Animation, Visual Effects and Gaming so as to enhance the employability of the youths in the sector of Media and Entertainment, has recently tie up with Software company AutoDesk to launch the first ever 3D Animation programs for the youths from North Eastern States.
The North Eastern Council (NEC) has approved to fund the program’s component of fooding, lodging and also provide a high end laptop to each trainee.
The program is a fully funded residential program for a period of six months training and two months on the job training. The training is to be carried out under National Film Development Corporation which is a PSU under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and is a skill awarding body under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship.
Training will be carried out at Delhi starting from March 2023 onwards.
