A 3.6 magnitude earthquake hit West Jaintia Hills early today morning. The tremor occurred at 12:28 am local time.
According to the National Centre for Seismology (NCS), the earthquake struck at a depth of 5 km from the surface.
The NCS reported that the quake’s epicentre was located at 25.47 degrees North latitude and 92.11 degrees East longitude.
