A Media Certification and Monitoring Committee (MCMC) meeting was held today at the Office chamber of SDO (Sadar), Khliehriat cum Nodal Officer, Abhinav Kumar Singh to discuss on the roles and responsibilities of the committee for the upcoming Meghalaya Assembly elections.
During the meeting, Singh has advised the general public to refrain from uploading/posting or sending any media content/ messages on social media platforms which contains communally sensitive messages, fake news that can create communal disharmony, feeling of enmity hatred or ill will towards any individual or groups.
