RainbowKids Preschool celebrated World Environment Day with a plantation drive and anti-plastic pollution awareness.
Students also participated in a series of eco-friendly activities, focusing on this year’s theme, “Putting an End to Plastic Pollution.”
The young students planted small plants, learned about environmental conservation, and gained insights into the harmful effects of plastic pollution. They also engaged in painting activities, creating posters that highlighted the importance of reducing plastic usage.
Dahunshisha Rynjah, Principal of RainbowKids Preschool, emphasized the significance of nurturing a love for nature in children from an early age. “At RainbowKids Preschool, we believe that small hands can make a big difference,” she said.
By educating children about environmental issues, Rynjah believes that they become empowered to take responsibility for their actions and grow into responsible citizens. “This year, our children learned about plastic pollution, participated in painting activities, and planted trees. We hope to inspire others and work together towards a greener future,” she added.
The event aimed to instill environmental awareness and promote sustainable practices among the young students, encouraging them to become active contributors to protecting the planet.
