The National People’s Party (NPP) Nartiang yesterday felicitated four newly elected Members of District Council (MDCs) of the region.
The MDCs include Thombor Shiwat from Moodop-Umladang Constituency, Jesse Suiam from Moodymmai-Nongkhroh Constituency, Pheinshwa Nangleiñ from Mynsngad-Khanduli Constituency, and Reforming Son Lamare from Nartiang-Wahiajer Constituency.
The felicitation program was held at the Wahiajer Community Hall, presided over by Hamkom Khynriam, president of NPP-1 Nartiang Block Constituency.
Deputy Chief Minister and NPP leader Sniawbhalang Dhar congratulated the newly elected MDCs, party leaders, and supporters. He urged the members to work hard, unite, and provide their best services to the public in the entire Jaiñtia region.
Dhar reminded the MDCs that the people have chosen them, and it is their duty to deliver their best services and bring overall development to the region.
