As a part of the Clean India campaign, the NSS unit of Ri-Bhoi College conducted a cleanliness drive here today.
More than a hundred students from the college who are National Service Scheme members took part in the cleaning drive that took in several areas of the district headquarters.
Rejoicing Suchiang, one of the NSS volunteers, informed that this cleaning drive was conducted to create mass awareness among the local population of Nongpoh to understand the importance of cleanliness.
