Shillong, Aug 29: Manipur High Court Chief Justice M. Sundar on Saturday asked law students to skill up for Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Commercial Courts as the legal landscape changes fast.
He was delivering a special talk at the University of Science & Technology Meghalaya (USTM), organised by University School of Law and Research.
Justice Sundar lauded students and their curiosity and said lawyers must stay abreast of technology and new dispute resolution modes.
Students from JB Law College, B.R.M. Government Law College, Dispur Law College, Girijananda Chowdhury University, NEF Law College and USLR-USTM participated.
USTM Vice Chancellor Prof G.D. Sharma, Prof Subhram Rajkhowa, Prof A.C. Kataki and Author-in-Residence Mayur Bora were also present.
