The A’king Nokma of Bekbekgre village in North Garo Hills has filed a police complaint against a resident of the same village for forgery.
The A’king Nokma, CR Marak said that one Osonsing A Sangma had forged her seal and signature and issued a NOC for erection of a Jio tower under her A’king.
The FIR was filed on Wednesday at the Rari OGC under Bajengdoba PS.
“This has been done without my knowledge and permission to defame my name as the seal and signature was forged,” said the Nokma while seeking action against the perpetrator. Copies of the forged documents were also provided to the police.
The North Garo Hills police however could not be contacted for information on the matter.
