A two-day conference will begin on Friday on ‘Tribal Environmental Governance and Rights of Nature in the context of the Climate Crisis’ at the National Law University Meghalaya.
The conference will run from 12:30pm to 6pm on the first day and from 9:30am to 4pm on the second.
The conference seeks to delve into several key dimensions vital for understanding and addressing the climate crisis through the lens of tribal environmental governance and the rights of nature philosophy, an official note said today.
