Due to the detection of Covid-19 positive cases the East Khasi Hills district magistrate has declared the house of (L) Homila Nongkhlaw at Madanrting Block D and Tharin Warbah at Madanrting Wahtipthoh Block F, Shillong as micro-containment areas from today.
In West Jaintia Hills, the district magistrate declared Riatmoolain Khlieh Um Sorkar and Um Sorkar cluster under Ladthadlaboh locality as micro containment zones.
No persons are allowed to move into the containment area and inhabitants are not allowed to move out, the orders added.
Meanwhile, the Mairang Civil-Sub Divisional magistrate has lifted the containment tags from Dongbir, Donggate, Lumiew and Lummaralong.
The magistrate said Langstiehrim and Umwiehsup will continue to be under containment as new cases of Covid-19 have been detected.
