In compliance with Rule 15 (2) of the New Arms Rule 2016, Arms Licences that have not been allotted a UIN shall be considered invalid with immediate effect.
In pursuance to the above mentioned rule the Deputy Commissioner of West Jaintia Hills has issued a notice directing all Arms License holders to produce their licence in the DC’s office immediately.
The Arms Licence holders should bring with them a residential certificate from their respective headman, EPIC and two passport size photographs.
