Prof Devesh Walia, Dean of the School of Human and Environmental Sciences at NEHU, underscored the importance of vocational education. He urged educators to recognise and nurture the unique capabilities of each student while talking about the innovations in teaching and pedagogy and stakeholders’ engagement in NEP 2020. The use of local languages during the preparatory stage was emphasised as crucial for holistic child development.
Modern teaching strategies empower students to actively participate in their learning journey.
