Shillong, May 9: The National Lok Adalat was today held across the State in which 183 cases were settled for a total amount of Rs. Rs. 1,34,86,214.
The number of cases taken up at the Lok Adalat was 625, out of which, 242 Pre-Litigation cases and 383 pending cases.
The National Lok Adalat was organised by the Meghalaya State Legal Services Authority under the aegis of the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA).
