Meghalaya police brought home two Gold medals from the 73rd All India Police Wrestling Cluster, 2024 held in Lucknow.
Wandalin Syiemiong clinched the Gold medal in the female category after defeating her opponent from Rajasthan, while Alan Marbaniang emerged the winner in the male category.
In all, 1,451 players from the police forces of various states and Union Territories, besides Central Police Forces, are participating in the five-day 73rd All India Police Wrestling Cluster 2024, which will conclude tomorrow
The Sashastra Seema Bal is organising the event under the aegis of the All India Police Sports Control Board (AIPSCB).
