Shella MDC Teinwell Dkhar raised an unusual matter today, not concerning the rights of the indigenous tribals but rather the safety of their elected representatives who are beset by stray dogs on the MDC hostel premises.
Dkhar said that the hostel has become a haven for strays, which has left many people, including MDCs and their families, feeling unsafe.
“There are so many stray dogs on the premises of the hostel that it has become a problem and children and everyone are afraid by the presence of the strays,” he said while urging the executive committee to look into the matter.
