Mawryngkneng MLA Heaving Stone Kharpran launched the Intensified Indradhanush Immunisation 5.0 programme for East Khasi Hills yesterday at Diengpasoh primary health centre.
The programme was organised by the office of the District Health Society, National Health Mission, in collaboration with the Directorate of Health Services.
The programme was also attended by Deputy Commissioner RM Kurbah, medical officials Dr R Allya, Dr A Lyngdoh, Dr EL Kharmutee, Dr V Laloo, Dr A Lyngdoh, as well as national observers, officials from the World Health Organisation, United Nations Development Programme, district and block officials, ASHAs, parents and others.
