Independent candidate for the Lok Sabha election from Shillong seat, Prof. Lakhon Kma today said that he represents the voice of the youth of Meghalaya.
Kma said that he feels concern over the fact that there are no job opportunities.
“My priorities is to find out ways and means to create jobs in the State and how to increase the realm of capabilities so that looking for a job is a multi dimensional process,” he said after filing his nomination papers.
Kma said that the current leadership seems to be single tracked, he said that Hindi can be one way to earn livelihood.
“I don’t hate Hindi, it is the language of this country and I want our youth to learn it,” the independent candidate said.
Kma said that the current generation can sing, act and dance well and joining Bollywood can be a career option for the youths of the state.
He also said that one of his agenda is zero tolerance on corruption even as he added that if people give him a chance he will lead by example.
He said that honesty will begin with him and he will set an example of how public funds are used for the welfare of the people.
