The Hynñiewtrep National Youth Front (HNYF) has expelled its vice president Marcus Marten for violation of the “code of conduct.”
Marten was also the regional president of the HNYF in Ri Bhoi, now being held by Heasting Lyngdoh.
The expulsion announcement was made by HYNF regional general secretary, Alfred Mallai at a press conference in Nongpoh today. However, he made no disclosure on the details of the code of conduct and the violations.
Mallai said, “From today onwards, he no longer holds any ties with HNYF. For any organisational matters, people are advised to reach out to the newly elected leaders, who were appointed and confirmed just a few days ago.”
