The residence of Health Minister A L Hek at RR Colony in Umpling here has been declared as “micro containment zone” after his daughter contracted Covid-19.
According to sources, the 25-year-old daughter of the health minister tested positive for the virus yesterday following which the authorities declared his house as a micro containment zone.
Hek who is presently in New Delhi has confirmed that his daughter tested positive for Covid-19.
He, however, mentioned that his daughter is keeping well and that she is being kept in isolation at his residence.
