The Garo Students Union (GSU) will hold elections for its Williamnagar Eastern Zone on October 19, 2023.
A second meeting of the GSU’s election commissioners was held on Monday where the date of polling was decided. Nominations will be accepted until October 12, the last date of withdrawal will be October 13, scrutiny of nominations will be October 14, and October 16-17 will be for election campaigning.
A ‘silent period’ will then come into force from 5am on October 18 until the close of polls.
