The State government has announced a three per cent increase in the Dearness Allowance (DA) for all categories of State government employees, pensioners and family pension holders.
According to an office memorandum issued by the Finance Department today, the DA has been enhanced from the existing rate of 25 per cent to 28 per cent with effect from January 1, 2022.
The payment of DA sanctioned by the Finance Department shall be debited to the respective heads of accounts from which the employees draw their salary and also from which the pensioners, family pension holders draw their pension.
