Free stipendiary training will be conducted by the National Career Service Centre for SC/STs, Jowai under the Ministry of Labour & Employment, at the District Employment Exchange Building, in West Jaintia Hills District from July 1.
The training will be conducted for the one year special coaching scheme under shorthand, ‘O’ level computer training and computer hardware maintenance training for eligible SC/ST candidates in order to equip them for their effective performance in the different clerical grade competitive examinations conducted by various recruitment agencies, a PIB press release said.
During training period, there is provision to pay stipend of Rs. 1000 per month to each trainee and free study materials.
Interested candidates registered with Employment Exchanges, with +2 pass or above as educational qualification, age between 18 to 30 years as on July 1, 2024 can apply for the training programme by visiting www.ncs.gov.in.
Candidates can also submit their application to the centre concerned or collect the free application form from the center in during the office hours between 10 am to 5 pm.
The last date for receiving of application is June 15, 2024.
Candidates would be considered for only one course. Photo copies of educational qualifications, Mark Sheets, Caste certificate, Aadhaar Card, Income certificate (below 3 lakhs per annum) and Valid Employment Exchanges registration card are essential documents to be enclosed at the time of submitting the application form.
No TA/DA will be claimed by the candidates while participating in written test/document verification.
