CSIR-Central Food Technological Research Institute, Mysore will organise a skill development and export oriented training programme in food processing in Shillong, exclusively for Meghalaya.
The training programme is sponsored by the Agricultural & Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA).
The five-day training will be held at Bellefonte Community College, Lumshyiap Golf-Link and the institute expects registered exporters with APEDA and food manufacturer exporters to participate.
A team of CSIR-CFTRI scientists from Mysore will conduct the theory, practical and demonstration of value added products from the locally grown fruits, vegetables and spices.
