In its continued efforts to provide shelter to poor families, the Federation of Khasi Jaintia and Garo People (FKJGP) today handed a newly constructed house to a widow in Mawspong village, East Khasi Hills.
The house was constructed for the family of Proskobita Nongbet, who lost her husband about a year ago, through funds raised by the Sawsymper circle of the organisations from football tournaments held in2023.
The house was blessed by Rev. Fr. Sachaeus Syngkli in the presence of FKJGP central body president Dundee Cliff Khongsit, vice president Kitboklang Nongphlang, other members, rangbah shnong of Mawspong Spilin Marwein and others.
