The Deputy Commissioner of East Khasi Hills has declared Christmas Eve (December 24), Christmas (December 25) and New Year’s Day (January 1) as dry days. Therefore, IMFL licensed premises (wholesale and retail), bars, canteens, alcohol home delivery services, outstills, etc are directed to remain closed on those days.
