An unidentified male patient, around 49 years old, was brought by a 108 ambulance stationed at Nongpoh to Shillong Civil Hospital on June 25.
The patient was admitted to the ICU but passed away on July 2.
An inquest and other legal formalities were observed and the dead body was taken to NEIGRIHMS for an autopsy and is now in the hospital morgue.
Relatives of the deceased are requested to collect the dead body from the hospital morgue within three days failing which the body will be disposed of by the Shillong Municipal Board.
