The body of a man, aged between 50 and 60, was found at a bus stop in Boldoka, Selsella, West Garo Hills, police have informed.
An inquest was held but no one in the neighbourhood could identify the deceased. The body was then taken to Tura Civil Hospital for an autopsy.
Concerned relatives are requested to collect the dead body from the hospital morgue within three days.
