The body of an unidentified male was found in Jail Road here on June 24 outside the Star Aquarium. An inquest and other legal formalities were carried out and, following an autopsy, the body was stored at the Shillong Civil Hospital morgue.
A case of unnatural death has been registered at Sadar police station.
The deceased is thought to be around 25-35 years old, swarthy, of medium build, around 1.65m tall and was wearing a black jumper, black semi-jeans, black slippers and green underwear. Those who can identify the body are requested to call the Sadar police station (0364-2224818/2224400) or police control room (0364-2222214/2222215).
