The 67th Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) celebrated Rongali Bihu at its headquarters here today.
The event was organised by Commandant Sunil Kumar Savita and attended by all ranks. Inspector General Danesh Rana presided as chief guest and inaugurated the celebration. Dr Animesh Mishra, Head of Cardiology at NEIGRIHMS, was the guest of honour.
Savita expressed delight at the opportunity to celebrate the cultural diversity of India within the CRPF fraternity and added that such events foster camaraderie and understanding among the personnel.
Rana commended the 67th Battalion for holding such an event, adding that it will help strengthen the bond between the force and civilians.
