Meghalaya’s Covid-19 positivity rate is only at 1.12 per cent, Health Department figures reveal.
Today saw the state government give a weekly roundup of Covid numbers rather than the usual daily update.
In the week up to Sunday, there were 13 new infections, 26 recoveries and no deaths due to the disease. There were 145 Covid tests in each of the 12 districts; the positivity rate is measured by the number of new cases divided by the number of cases.

In all, Meghalaya has had 96,722 Covid-19 cases, out of which 95,074 have recovered and 1,622 have died from the virus. There are 26 active cases.
