There were six new cases of Covid-19 in Meghalaya today along with seven recoveries and no fatalities.
West Garo Hills accounted for three new cases and one each in East Khasi Hills, North Garo Hills and Ri Bhoi.
East Khasi Hills accounted for five recoveries and one each in West Garo Hills and East Garo Hills.
There are now 42 active Covid-19 cases in the state – West Garo Hills 20, East Khasi Hills 13, Ri Bhoi seven, one each in North Garo Hills and South West Garo Hills.
In all, Meghalaya has had 96,700 Covid-19 cases, out of which 95,036 have recovered and 1,622 have died from the virus. There are seven patients being treated in hospital with the disease – five in East Khasi Hills and two in West Garo Hills.
