There were seven new cases of Covid-19 in Meghalaya today along with four recoveries and no fatalities.
West Garo Hills accounted for four new cases and East Khasi Hills three.
Recoveries were recorded in East Khasi Hills with two and one each in Ri Bhoi and South Garo Hills.
There are now 85 active Covid-19 cases in the state – West Garo Hills 32, East Khasi Hills 27, Ri Bhoi 11, South West Garo Hills five, West Jaiñtia Hills three, East Jaiñtia Hills and North Garo Hills two each and one each in East Garo Hills, South West Khasi Hills and West Khasi Hills.
In all, Meghalaya has had 96,558 Covid-19 cases, out of which 94,854 have recovered and 1,619 have died from the virus.
There are 15 patients being treated in hospital with the disease – 13 in East Khasi Hills and one each in West Garo Hills and West Khasi Hills.
