There were 14 new cases of Covid-19 in Meghalaya today along with 19 recoveries and no fatalities.
There were seven new infections in West Garo Hills district, East Khasi Hills three and two each in Ri Bhoi and South West Garo Hills district.
West Garo Hills accounted nine recoveries, East Khasi Hills six and two each in Ri Bhoi and West Jaiñtia Hills.
There are now 98 active Covid-19 cases in the state – East Khasi Hills 32, West Garo Hills 26, Ri Bhoi 11, South West Garo Hills eight, six each in South Garo Hills and West Jaiñtia Hills, East Jaiñtia Hills four, Eastern West Khasi Hills three, East Garo Hills and South West Khasi Hills one each.
In all, Meghalaya has had 96,404 Covid-19 cases, out of which 94,689 have recovered and 1,617 have died from the virus.
There are 34 patients being treated in hospital with the disease – 25 in East Khasi Hills, four in West Garo Hills, South Garo Hills three, one in Ri Bhoi and another in West Jaiñtia Hills.
