There were six new cases of Covid-19 in Meghalaya today along with 14 recoveries and no fatalities.
West Garo Hills accounted for three new cases, East Khasi Hills two and Ri Bhoi one.
Seven recoveries were recorded in West Garo Hills, South West Garo Hills three, two each in East Khasi Hills and Ri Bhoi.
There are now 79 active Covid-19 cases in the state – East Garo Hills three, East Jaiñtia Hills three, East Khasi Hills 24, Eastern West Khasi Hills one, North Garo Hills zero, Ri-Bhoi 11, South Garo Hills one, South West Garo Hills four, South West Khasi Hills three, West Garo Hills 26, West Jaiñtia Hills three and West Khasi Hills zero.
In all, Meghalaya has had 96,477 Covid-19 cases, out of which 94,780 have recovered and 1,618 have died from the virus. There are 21 patients being treated in hospital with the disease – 18 in East Khasi Hills, one each in Ri-Bhoi, South West Khasi Hills and West Garo Hills.
